And the data cant be seen unless the PC8 shows up as drive.
If I unplug the cable and replug it in. It will eventually work. But not consistently. Can you try the other cable you have? The last statement you make makes me think it could be a cable (or port) issue. Do you have another port on your computer to try? Is there any 'play' in the USB connection to your Mac?

I have had this same issue with my laptop (not a Mac).
I have to unplug it and plug it back in a couple of times before it will register. Annoying, but I have had this issue before where my computer doesn't always see what's plugged into the USB port.

Is there any 'play' in the USB connection to your Mac? Tried both ports. And both cables.

It eventually works. But very frustrating. I doubt it is the ports.
As my Garmin used the same ports with no issue at all. Spoke to SRM about the older mount issue too. Turns out I was right. The older plastic mounts don't always fit (yours does).
They recommended using a fine grit sandpaper to 'file' it down to fit. The older aluminum mount my friend had works fine. Donzo98 wrote:Having a weird issue. And wondering if anyone else has seen it.
